Yeah I am learning that a mission is a lot different than I thought it would be. I am starting to understand what I have to do as a missionary and its defiantly not be myself, which I don't really like very much but I don't have much of a choice.

During special conference today, one of the temple president councilors spoke about how we are only responsible for our actions and how we need to do our part and if we don't then its our fault. And the problems we have don't matter because we are missionaries. I liked the talk a lot, it had a lot of really good points. I have to do it. The mission defiantly isn't easy. I have learned a ton of patience and even more humility already. I imagine I will learn a lot more.

We had another baptism yesterday it was really rushed because everybody wanted to eat. Our ward prepared a whole bunch of food and cake and it was really good. But the baptism went well. We have another one this Sunday and possible 3 more and Saturday maybe. I don't know because my companion keeps changing his mind.

Because today president lectured us for a long time about how we would only have success if we worked together with our companions, and I am the only person in our companionship that has more than 1 baptism, I believe. Right now I have 7 with as many as 4 more this weekend. So I am pretty confused right now. I am just gonna keep working and having a better attitude. thanks for the love and support. I love you all and miss you.

90!?!? hahaha oh man, yesterday it was 120 here in Mexico according to the thermometer at our Branch Presidents house! And today is going to be just as hot, but today there is a really nice cool breeze coming in so its not to bad.

So I guess I have lost a lot of weight. I was showing me companion pictures, and I showed him the one of me and you guys at the airport, a nd he asked who is that? and I said that's me! He was like no, that's not you. And I said ya, it is. He was like wow you look a lot different.lol. (My spelling is really bad because my Spanish is getting better)

Wow school is already out! This last month went by somewhat fast. The days are starting to go by faster and kinda of the weeks too. I just need to work on having more patience I guess.
HAHA, yesterday I was thinking wow I am missing oatmeal pancakes right now, and I was kinda sad, because then I realized I would miss oatmeal pancakes 23 times here on my mission!lol. But I know about what day I will be coming home.lol. It will be Jan 31 or Feb 1, depending on how much time we spend in the offices after transfers. I was bored the other night.

Wow that sounds like a lot of fun! happy anniversary! I am going to be teaching and umm teaching and umm probably teaching. But Wednesday we have zones conference, so I am really excited for that.

Yes I got the package!!! muchas gracias!

We had a baptism yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 teenage girls and we are hoping the mother gets baptized really soon, She has a really strong testimony but doesn't feel that she is ready. So both me companion and I baptized, It was my first time here in Mexico, and was really fun. We have 3 more baptism this Sunday!!!!!!!!!! this is going to be a really good month.
I think that is all for this week. Have fun!

*This is Brendon's comment about us having a yard sale, we write to him on Sunday night so he is able to read a letter from us when he gets on the Internet to send his email.

*So how much did you get for all of my stuff? I hope its a decent amount at least.lol. jk. I know that you wouldn't do that. We have had some pretty crazy weather here. We have had a lot of thunder storms, and then we also get these crazy electrical storms that is lightning with no thunder and it stays in the clouds. They are usually in the afternoon or evening. And we random get rain and it comes down really really hard. But its been really nice during the day and 80 sometimes 90. I am no going to complain at all. I like it a lot.

Well my new comp is better. He is already pretty frustrated with the fact that I don't speak much Spanish. He is from Mexico City and so I don't understand him at all. And he mumbles his words so I really don't understand him. But he wants to work more than my other companion.
The difficult thing for me is he likes things to be perfect! wow, he spent most of the morning rearranging our house because he didn't like the way it was. So I don't know, its gonna be interesting.

This is the first week though that has gone by pretty fast so that is good news.
we have 3 baptisms next week which is way awesome! Its a mother and her 2 daughters. We might be able to get baptisms the week after and after that one. We have a couple good families and some solo people. But we need to work on finding more new people. My new companion doesn't really like contacting people a lot. So its pretty back and forth. On Friday we knocked on the door of this house, and the guy said "Oh I have one of your books, its really an awesome book. He told us he read the whole thing a while back. But he didn't realize what exactly the Book of Mormon was. Then he started telling us these stories about UFOs and other superstitious stuff and it was pretty funny. He was kind of a cooky guy, but he might be a good investigator.

This week I was thinking back to the mtc and we had a lot of stuff happen, here are the exciting things that happened in the mtc
My companion got hives and had to go to the hospital.
Somebody put a hotpocket in the microwave for way to long and set off the fire alarms.
We where one of the first classrooms to get desk and chairs.
Some of the eagle scout association religious board people, came the the mtc and talked with our class.
and on our last p.e. day we had a kid clothesline himself on the volleyball nets and got a really bad concussion and had to go to the hospital, and we didn't get much of a p.e. time.
that's all I can think of for now.
thanks for the letters. I hope all is well
